This Privacy Policy applies to the Hirs - حرص mobile application ("Application"), developed and provided by Hirs ("Service Provider"). The Application is offered as a free service, intended for use "as is."We are committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our users, particularly students and their guardians. 1. Overview

The Application includes an SOS safety feature that enables students to send emergency alerts to parents or legal guardians through a connected wearable device. We collect only the data necessary to support these features and improve the overall experience.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use or interact with the Application:
  • a. Student Location Data (Required): To enable emergency alerts, the Application collects and stores the last three known GPS locations of the student, Purpose: Used only to inform parents/guardians during emergencies.Permissions Required: "Always" or "When In Use" location access.
  • b. Parent Verification Data (Optional): Users may optionally provide their National ID or Iqama for account verification and enhanced security. This data is not required to use the core features of the app.
  • c. Home Address (Optional): If provided, the Application uses the home address to calculate the distance between the student’s current location and home. This feature is optional.
  • d. Device and Usage Data (Automatically Collected): Device IP address, Operating system version, In-app activity (e.g., screens visited, time spent per session, and usage timestamps)
  • e. Personal Profile Data: Full name, Email address, Mobile number, Password, Gender and nationality (optional and used for localization, e.g., language settings) Any other data voluntarily provided when using the app

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used to: Send SOS alerts and show student locations on a map, Verify parent/guardian access (if ID/Iqama is provided), Improve app performance and user experience using aggregated, anonymized insights, Contact users about updates or support (with prior consent), Customize the app experience based on optional settings (e.g., default language)

4. Location Permissions

The Application requires location access for safety tracking features: Permissions Used: Always / When In Use, Use Case: Emergency alerting and student location tracking, Third-Party Sharing: Location data is never sold or shared with third parties

5. Data Security

We implement physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your data: Sensitive data is encrypted and stored securely, Regular audits are performed to ensure data privacy, Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only

6. Third-Party Access

We do not share personal data with third parties, except in the following cases: With trusted service providers (e.g., for hosting or analytics) under confidentiality agreements When required by law (e.g., legal orders or subpoenas) To protect rights, safety, or investigate suspected fraud The app may use trusted services like: Google Play Services – Privacy Policy
